Grand Knight’s Column
Brother Knights
The Show on Friday, Nov 4th was greatly enjoyed by all in attendance. Troy Shondell was accompanied
by his wife, a singer in her own right, and he performed many songs from the
40’s/60’ era, plus some country and some rock and roll music. We had 115 tickets sold and 103 in attendance. I
wish to thank those who made the effort for the success of this event.
Your council has helped to establish a new Ministry of the Church—The Hospitality Ministry. There are 8 members
of this ministry at the present and we hope that it will grow to become a major factor in making our newcomers to the Church
feel welcome and help to bring all members of the Parish together as one Family of St. Patrick’s Parish.
On November 17 we are having our Memorial Mass for our Departed Brothers in the Chapel at 7 PM. It is hoped that
there will be a good participation for this Mass.
By the time you read this, the winner of
our Spelling Bee will have participated in the District’s on Nov 14th. We wish her the best in this contest
and are confident she will be a winner.
Our Corporate Mass is on Nov 20th at 7:30 AM
Jackets and Ties are to be worn. Also, in order to keep the nose level down, please meet in the Chapel prior to
the Mass.
Mark your calendars for Dec 7th as the Council has been invited to participate in a Mass at the Diocese
at 10:30 AM. This Mass will be taped to be shown on Sunday television at a later date. Please plan to be in attendance, if
possible.
My wife and I wish all of you and your families to have a joyful and pleasant Thanksgiving!
Fraternally Yours in Christ

Navigator Report
Dear Sir Knights and Ladies
I would like to thank all those who helped make the Italian Dinner Night on Oct 28th a success. The
cooks were Sam P., F.N. Mike B. and Joe Russo, led by P.F.N. Sam Perri, who chaired the committee for the third straight year.
Thank you, Sam.
To our dismay, two Brother Knights passed away in October. I am thankful
for the Honor Guards who showed up to march and act as Pall Bearers at the Funeral Masses.
There will be no pig roast this year, but the Ladies Auxiliary is having a 50’s Dance on Nov 5th. and everyone
is encouraged to dress in a 50’s themed outfit. It should be a fun evening. (Doo Wop, Shoobedoo) .
In October, our Assembly along with Council #3358 donated money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Our prayers
go out to those affected by the storm.
On Sunday, Nov 6th, there will be a Corporate Communion at Incarnation Church. And on Sunday Nov 20th a Corporate Communion at St Thomas Moore. I’m sure that the Sir
Knights, as well as the Color Corps members will make a good showing, as we usually do.
We will hold a “New Member” Open House on Nov 11th
for all candidates and their wives who will be attending the Exemplification at the end of the month. At the Open House, we will explain the itinerary for the big weekend, i.e. what will happen every day,
the times of the Ceremonies, what the Ladies should wear.
The Past Grand Knight/ Past Faithful Navigator Dinner will take place on Nov 12th starting at 6PM Please
make plans to attend this very special evening, when we get a chance to honor the immediate P.G.K. and P. F. N. as well as
those of past years., whose hard work and diligence have made our Council and Assembly the great organizations they are today.
As you well know, Thanksgiving week as well as that whole week is very special to us. We work hard all week to
cook, disassemble, sort and prepare
turkeys and all the fixings to serve our Community on Thanksgiving Day. I urge all the Sir Knights as well as their
Ladies to come and help us to make it a memorable day for the needy ,as well as anyone who might be alone and would like to
have Thanksgiving Dinner with good Christian people who give thanks to God for what we have.
The day after Thanksgiving it’s off to the Marriot Orlando World
Resort Hotel for the big Exemplification weekend. It’s a beautiful place to take your families for a great Thanksgiving
Weekend Vacation. And all are welcome. Special arrangements are being made for the children, including Kids Meals and entertainment,
so bring the whole family and make it a Holiday Weekend Vacation. Please see Comptroller Bob Alloca for arrangements
Until next month, may God Bless you all

Council #13307 –Ladies Auxiliary
Dear Ladies
We are entering December, the last month of the year and my last month as President of this Auxiliary. These past
two years have certainly flown by, but I would like to say that it has been an honor and my pleasure to serve as your president
and working with all of you.
There have been many accomplishments and I’m certain that there will be many more in the future with your
new slate of officers. Congratulations to all of you. They are:
President Barbara Piccione
V. President Chris Boucher
Secretary Abby McBride
Treasurer Lindsay Evans
Guard
Marie Becker
I wish you the best of luck and I know that you will plan with vision, proceed with optimism and achieve with enthusiasm.
Thanks again to Jenni McGinn for chairing the nominating committee and also to Geri Welch and Marie Palazzo for
their help.
At our November meeting, we had a new member join us. Her name is Nancy Bramly. Welcome aboard Nancy, we are delighted
you decided to join our group.
Our next meeting is on December 1st at 7PM in the parish hall—hope to see you there. I know that
December is a busy month, but ladies, try your best to attend.
The Knights are holding a Memorial Mass on Thursday, Nov. 17th at 7PM in the Chapel for our departed
Knights. Hopefully, we will have a nice turnout.
Congratulations to Corky Pezzati our lucky 50/50 winner, who was kind enough to donate it back to the Treasurer.
Ladies, just a reminder once again to please join your husbands for the council’s Corporate Communion once
a month. It will be held on Sunday, November 20th at 7:30 AM Mass. I know that it’s early for those of us
that attend a later mass, but please try and make it to show support to our church and council.
Sunday, Dec. 4th from 12:30 to 4PM, the Knights and the Hospitality Committee are holding a Parish Family
Christmas Celebration with dinner at the Parish Hall. It will be free for all parishioners. The theme is “Keep Christ in Christmas”. They
plan on having music and something for the children.
Many thanks to all those who brought gifts to the Knights Harvest Moon Ball. It certainly was a fun evening; the
music was great and the food delicious. Thanks to Peter Pezzatti and his committee.
Congratulations to Corky Pezzatti, our Lady of the Month.
The holiday season is a special time of the year. It’s a time to look back and recall cherished memories of
the past. It’s a time of thanksgiving, expressing appreciation for the many gifts of the present. It is also a time
to look toward the future and fill it with new hopes and dreams. May your Christmas season be filled with wonderful memories,
many things to be grateful for, and new dreams to inspire you. I wish each and everyone a very merry and Blessed Christmas
and a very healthy and happy New Year. Pray for peace, our men and women serving our country and for all our family and friends,
and let us not forget our “Council” family.
God Bless. Loretta L. Naimo, President

Let
me sow some seeds of kindness,
Plant
a worthy word of cheer,
Turn
a broken heart from sorrow,
Sever
chords that threaten fear.
Let
me lift some sagging spirit,
Soothe
its gnawing pain away,
Let
me labor in Thy service
Count
for profit-Lord today.
Use whatever lies within me.
Or
remains in backward mile,
Help me weed out hopeless plantings
That
Thy harvest be worthwhile.
